Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website and services provided by Local Standard LLC ("Local Standard LLC," "we," "us"). By subscribing to or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. The services

Local Standard LLC provides a subscription that includes website design, hosting, local and AI search optimization (SEO), content updates, review generation, and social/reputation management, as described on our website. Specific deliverables may evolve as best practices and search platforms change.

2. Subscription, pricing & billing

• The subscription is $399 per month, billed in advance, with no setup fee.
• Recurring billing: your payment method is charged automatically each month until you cancel, in accordance with this section and our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
• No minimum term: the subscription runs month-to-month from your start date with no lock-in, and you may cancel at any time.
• Auto-renewal: the subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel.
• Prices may change with prior notice; changes won't affect the current paid period.
• Payments are processed by Stripe; by paying you also agree to Stripe's terms.

3. Delivery & timelines

• Initial build: we aim to launch a live, fully set-up site within 2–3 weeks of kickoff, subject to timely input and materials from you.
• After launch, ongoing monthly work (SEO/AI maintenance, content, reviews, social, reporting) begins immediately and continues each month your subscription is active.
• Timelines depend on your cooperation (e.g., access, approvals, information). We are not responsible for delays caused by third parties or by information not provided on time.

4. Your responsibilities

You agree to: provide accurate information; give us needed access (e.g., domain, Google Business Profile, hosting where relevant); have the rights to any materials you provide; use the services lawfully; and comply with our Acceptable Use Policy.

5. Results disclaimer

We build the technical, search, and reputation foundation that helps businesses get found and booked, and we work to improve it every month. However, we do not guarantee specific rankings, traffic, lead volume, or revenue — outcomes depend on many factors outside our control (competition, market, seasonality, your responsiveness, and search-platform changes).

6. Third-party platforms

Our services rely on third-party platforms (e.g., Google, Stripe, review and social platforms). We are not responsible for their availability, policies, or changes, which may affect results.

7. Intellectual property & website ownership

The website, its build, and hosting are provided as part of your subscription. During your active subscription you have a full license to use the website for your business. The underlying build, code, and hosting remain Local Standard LLC's property; if the subscription ends, your right to use the hosted website ends as described in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Content you provide (logo, photos, text) remains yours; our tools, templates, and methods remain ours.

9. Warranties & limitation of liability

The services are provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Local Standard LLC disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Local Standard LLC against claims arising from your content, your use of the services, or your breach of these Terms.

11. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Boulder County, Colorado, USA, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer law.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date and, where appropriate, notified to you.
